Word for the day is half-finished. I'm sitting here with a half finished cigarette in one hand and half a glass of water in the other. Reading LJ, trying to discover places to find new and interesting peeps. It's been awhile since I've made my writing public. I've been keeping a paper journal for so long, I think I forgot how to type.
Bellingham is so quiet, all I hear is soft rain and a random rustling every once in awhile. It's so far away from the hustle and bustle of the strip, loud bangs going off all night long. I don't hear the constant hiss of traffic and the sky isn't lit up orange from all the lights. It's dark and private. People keep to themselves here, almost like they are afraid to venture from their homes. I'm finding this city to be very unique in many respects. It would be nice to get to know its mysterious inhabitants, but most seem polite but very guarded. They smile at me and say hi, but they always keep their distance. It's not a terribly pushy town, unless you spend time by the college. I think tomorrow I will find some parks to explore and find the fun to be had around here.
